QuintaCapsa ("the app") is a flashcard app for learning words and phrases using spaced repetition. This page explains what data the app collects, why, and what your options are

If you don't sign in

Your cards and review history are stored only in your browser's local storage. Nothing is sent to our servers, and we have no way to see or access this data. If you clear your browser data or switch devices without signing in, it's gone - that's the tradeoff for not creating an account

If you sign in

We collect:

• Your email address, to send you a one-time sign-in code and identify your account
• The cards you create (front and back text, topic labels) and your review history, so they can sync across your devices and be backed up
• Your plan status (free or Pro)
• Feedback messages you choose to submit, if any

We use this only to provide the app's own features - syncing your cards, enforcing plan limits, and responding to feedback. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising or tracking

Who else sees your data

A few service providers process data on our behalf, strictly to run the app:

• Supabase - hosts our database and handles sign-in
• Resend - delivers the sign-in code email
• Vercel - hosts the web app itself
• Stripe - processes Pro subscription payments, if you subscribe

If you subscribe to Pro, payment is handled directly by Stripe - we do not see or store your card details ourselves

Your data, your control

You can delete your account at any time from the Account screen. This permanently deletes your cards, review history, and account - on every device, not just the one you're using - and cannot be undone. To request a copy of your data, or ask us anything else about this policy, contact us at support@quintacapsa.com

Children

QuintaCapsa is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page
